This kind of study is what real evolutionary psychology is about...not that alpha male stuff which was never even applied to primates by any scientist. The question in my mind is if that is true then why aren't all males at least two feet taller than all females by this point? Why do males who are short still exist. Tallness has much to do with nutrition and environment as DNA. One more thing.... Don't key on one thing as being this or that attracts women. Women are attracted to a complex package of traits of which height is only one thing. Plenty of tall men are lonely. Plenty of very intelligent men are lonely. Plenty of rich men are lonely. .....

If a tall man can punch hard but a shorter man is more handy with a spear or sharpened rock or is more cunning creative and inteligent that can attract a woman. It's not hard either. On the other hand look at this tall intelligent fellow. He didn't get allot of women inspite of being big tall and a uhhh real backwoods independant mountain man type... a really bad boy.
