On the other hand, as guys we get stuck with the short end of the stick due to our gender in certain areas and women get stuck with the short end of the stick in some areas due to their gender. Does it even out? I don't take tally but I do think the dynamics will shift somewhat as times goes on.

It's pretty much akin to flushing it down the toilet, when a girl has a free beer or two from a guy, or has a $50 meal date, and then never sees the guy again (her choice.) I am all for a woman having the choice to reject a man she doesn't like. But there seem to be so many "princesses" out there, who love to use men for their money. I suppose it's lucky that I don't date. If I did, I'd probably run across one of these women. As it is, I've heard enough horror stories from my friends.

But by your logic everyone who gets a paycheck is "taking money from men," does that make us all gold-diggers? The main lightbulb that went off in my head while watching the link was that the most negative things about women I've heard in life come straight from the mouths of women whom I care about and whose experience and opinions I respect. Here on LS is one thing, but in the broader world, women do most of the dissing of women IME. The only reason I mention this is that the old saw is that it is a "patriarchy" that "keeps women down and disparages women." What would you call a patriarchy composed mostly of people with vaginas?

While I agree with what she says in general (i.e., women shouldn't expect men to clothe and shower them with diamonds when they sit on their arses spouting off about equality), she's probably doing the cause a disservice by being the spokeswoman for the message. She's trash.

I sell myself to clients over the net mostly for 150-300 per hour, if they really want to see me, will gladly hook up the webcam (most don't thankfully). What's the diff? Does she show naughty bits? I'll do that too, gladly, much easier than drafting purchase agreements Admittedly, she needs to get herself a better set of fake eyelashes, the ones she has on are a bit much.

She’s probably worse then all the girls she stereotypically complains about. The reason I don’t complain about women taking all my money is very simple, I don’t let them. Me and my gf split everything down the middle. When we first started going out even we split things. Like I would buy dinner and then she would offer to pay for something else. It was nice. I definitely paid a little more for things in the start but once things started taking off I made even more of a point to make sure meals and vacations and what ever else was split 50/50. If your gf mentions a nice vacation and you pay for the entire thing, or you woman wants to go to a concert and you pay for the entire thing that’s on you. If you pay for her every time you go out and it isn’t equal that’s on you. Stop complaining and start rejecting people who just look good but are selfish.

All of my relationships have split the bill. One begrudgingly so and the others happily. That is not the issue for me. The issue becomes the single date women who stare blankly at the ceiling when the check comes and have forgotten what a wallet looks like. I also love the ones who complain about the venue after providing no input and not telling me if you are splitting the bill. If you don't tell me these things, I will pay for your coffee or a meal at the cheapest restaurant I can find because I do not know you. Women often have it backwards. I had a gf complain about why I was bringing her flowers and trinkets months into a relationship rather than at the beginning to 'woo' her. Because I did not know you then and did not feel the need to spend money on a stranger!
