Rinnix Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 Welcome to LS! Generally if you want to give advice, it's best to browse the threads and respond to posters.
Author plasma Posted May 19, 2011 Author Posted May 19, 2011 Welcome to LS! Generally if you want to give advice, it's best to browse the threads and respond to posters. im trying to avoid the immature crowd who plays games with others feelings my last GF is 21 and my latest 37 years old so my advice is broad, some were bi polar, borderline personalities ect ect and thank you
Rinnix Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 Most of LS isn't too bad, numerous posters are insightful. If anything, there will be immature posters no matter what you do to attempt and filter them. It's best just to post along with everyone else.
PegNosePete Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 Umm. I'm not sure what you're trying to do here? You want every single member to post their situation or problems in their signatures so that you can go through every single person's signature and advise them? How will you see their signatures, if they are not making posts any more? How will you offer your advice, by PM or by starting a new thread or by replying in your signature?? Some people's stories take many pages to explain. This really is not practical in a signature. Some people don't want advice, or want it when specific events happen. Waiting for other people to see their signature is not much use. People want their advice to be bunched together, hence the "threads" and discussions. In short... really really bad idea, sorry.

Chi townD Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 The point is that some poster's stories are long ( you could write a novel with mine) and some people don't want to re-hash old histories. I would suggest just reading through the threads and you can see who generally has good sound advice (in your opinion) and you can just sideline the rest. But, this is an open forum and people have the right to post their opinion and their thoughts. My experience here is that there are very few people that don't have the OP best interest at heart. However, it's up to you to decide if you want to take their advice and encouragement or not......i.e. if you don't like a song on the radio, turn the channel.
