Rosberg Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 So there's this girl i think i might really like to get to know. Now, i'm extremely shy with girls, i just don't know why. Thing is, i've heard people making fun of her laughter, and doing impersinations and i love it when they try but most of the time, i try to squeeze out some laughter. I LOVE when people just laugh as they do, without thinking about laughing different than other people. Now, i'm wondering how do i ask her out, do i do the same as i did with my ex? do i ask her to go out with me for a drive? (semi-cozy car, good music, subs in the back ) Do i ask her if she'd like to come over and hang out? do i risk having her friends with her, if so if her friends come with what do i do? how do i act? I feel a little lost, but there apparently is a first time for everything. So i guess i'd like to ask her to erm...well...come "meet" me somehow, without the intentions of a kind of hook-up for sex or something. Gaaah what's my approach? We both live in a very small town (population approx. 550) I have her on facebook, she knows who i am but not much more than that. So, tl;dr: do i just ask her on facebook if she'd want to go out with me for a late night drive?
smudge21 Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 She's on Facebook so clearly you're already friends, so why not initiate a conversation with her online. Chat on their as it's safe for both and less intimate for now. Like you said, you're not sure just yet, so get to know her first. Don't be too friendly though as clearly you don't want to just end up in the friend-zone. A few chats and then suggest meeting up for a drink - not alcohol, but a coffee or whatever, during the day.
