He had said he'd call the day I last left his place. No call. He texted instead that he had a great time and for me to have a good day. Next day he texts me early asking if I wanted to go to the beach . I sai ok that I'd meet him there . An hour later he cancels via text saying he has family issues. I just said ok, hope it all works out. An hour later another text that he's going to the beach again cuz everything was ok. I texted maybe 30 minutes later to clarify where was a good spot to park. He texts back saying "nevermind im meeting a friend for lunch in (another town ).". I wrote back "wow u really suck,". To which he said "I know but it's my last day off and I haven't seen him in a while.". Next day no contact. Today he texts just to say hi and ask how I'm doing . I respond an hour later . He waits an hour to get back to me and says he's Having lunch with the guys from work and for me to have a good day. Someone kick me in the a**. I don't want him anymore but I'm torn between just being a non-bitch and being civil and just ignoring him. The whole situation is making me anxious and bringing my self esteem and confidence down low. Please feel free to tell me what I'm doing wrong and what u'd do in this situation.
Author lolo1234 Posted May 18, 2011 Author Posted May 18, 2011 On one hand I want to tell this guy off but the fact that our non in person communcatiOn tends to be by text it would be weird for me to call him. Or maybe not tell him off but tell him how I'm feeling. Yet don't want to e vulnerable with him. I feel like he's really not worth that. Last time we hng out we were together the whole day so I feel like jut going NC may not be the right thing either.
iJester Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 Just ignore him and he'll go away eventually. There was never a family issue and the other reasons he gave for cancelling were bull**** too. I do the same thing. He probably sent invites to a few different girls and since you took so long, someone else took him up on it and he had to cancel with you.
