irc333 Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 .....I was reading about the whole "cold turkey" approach in public, like at a coffee shop or store. If a man approaches a woman in line, and tries to engage her in conversation, and she doesn't seem to be engaging back....if you are JUSt about to part ways, would it be foolish to even attempt to get her number? Is it considered "pushy" even though she never gotten tot he point of asking her out?
Survivor12 Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 If she isn't receptive to engaging in a conversation with you, it is a good bet that she isn't interested in going out with you...so what's the point in asking for her number?
carhill Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 OP, you described one form of 'social cue'. Positive engagements progress; negative ones end. Which do you think this is?
