makelemonade1974 Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 Has anyone ever had an ex that is seriously bent on revenge?? Constantly talks sh it about you and says the most off the wall things - even to people you work with? Expresses SERIOUS hatred towards you in conversation with mutual friends? What the heck? Is this some sort of defense mechanism? It's been 8 months. You think he would be over it by now. He broke up with ME! Granted, I found some ambivalent texts about his night out drinking with a female friend about a week before the breakup, so I might have dumped him eventually anyway. Maybe he saw it coming. I don't know. Unbelievably cruel breakup and now he hates me? I was a seriously good girlfriend and we were together for years. WTF?

As for vengeful exes, I do know someone that has gone to jail due to an ex filing a false report against him. She called the police and said that he hit her and trashed the house. The police raided his house with 7 men. They threw him in jail. And get this, they interrogated him for 3 days and he kept denying and denying. He kept telling the police, go to her house, check her for bruises and check for damage, but they didn't. So they were unwilling to clear his name. He was only able to get his name cleared after she admitted to a social worker that she made everything up. The raid happened 2 hours after he broke up with his girlfriend after she accused him of cheating, while in reality he was at work taking over a colleague's shift. She wouldn't have it, caused drama, so he left and went back home. Two hours later the police raided his house due to that one phone call from his ex-girlfriend. First of all, I really dislike the double standard in society regarding these sort of things. SHE broke the law by filing a false report, yet the police didn't even care to check her story, they didn't even arrest her after they found out she filed a false report and retracted it, yet he did jail time. But get this. After all that sh*t she asked him crying to come back to her. She blamed "her friend" for telling her to do what she did. And he took her back. I couldn't believe my ears when I heard that. He not only went to jail due to her, by filing a false report she broke the law, she shifted the blame for it to her friend, but the worst thing of all is that if he had made a wrong movement the police could have shot him. And this isn't the only case I know of where a woman acted batsh*t insane like that. Don't get me wrong, I can see "heaven" in the eyes of a woman, but there sure are some viscous b*tches out there in my opinion. Aphrodite could descend from the Greek heavens, but if she pulled sh*t like that on me I would send her packing back to Mount Olympus. That being said, I know examples like this from both sides of the sexes. So this sort of sh*t goes both ways. It's just a pity people treat each other like that. Edited May 17, 2011 by Nexus One
Darren Taylor Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 ^^ The guy could have sued and won big time. Unlawful arrest and proof that the police did nothing about the false police report.
Nexus One Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 (edited) ^^ The guy could have sued and won big time. Unlawful arrest and proof that the police did nothing about the false police report. He and his lawyer were in the process of doing just that. Then suddenly she asks him back and everything is off the table. I also think the timing of that was very fishy. I don't know. Unbelievably cruel breakup and now he hates me? I was a seriously good girlfriend and we were together for years. WTF?My psycho ex made up all sorts of stories about me, accused me of stalking her if I was in the same place as her, sabotaged all of our mutual friendships to the point where none of them would talk to me, threatened me with restraining orders, and sabotaged a business deal I was working on. At one point, I even had strange men coming after me and threatening to beat me up because I was "stalking" her. Fortunately, I didn't have to work with her! Still, I ended up having to go out of my way to avoid her and lost all of our mutual friendships (at least until a few years later, when some of them realized that she was the crazy one). I know it doesn't make a lot of sense, but you have to look at it from his perspective. He thinks he is a god, so obviously if you are no longer together, he has to assassinate your character in order to show that everything is your fault and he is still a god. He hates you because he knows you see through his false self, and so he has to go on the attack in order to make sure no one believes anything you might say about him. Even if you're NOT saying anything about him, he can't take the risk that other people might find out who he really is.
Eeyore79 Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 I've only had one ex who was really vengeful. He dumped me because he thought I was cheating (I wasn't, he was just paranoid and jealous) and then proceeded to tell everyone we knew that I had cheated on him. Nobody even asked for my side of the story, they just started ignoring me and saying nasty things behind my back, so I guess they weren't really my friends anyway. Even if they didn't want to be friends with me any more, they didn't have to be so spiteful - some of the things they said were really evil. I guess their behavior showed their true character, so really I dodged a bullet, both with him and with my so-called friends!
collegeguy_24 Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 I dumped my first ex three days before Thanksgiving in 2009 because she confessed she was cheating on me, with a woman no less. apparently, in that psycho mind of hers, everything was my fault. Never mind the fact I was faithful in the relationship and she cheated. She then proceeded to post my cell phone number an forum as 4chan, most specifically, /b/. Late at night as I was driving down the road, I got a call from a 13 year old girl asking what my penis tasted like. She then told me someone posted it on 4chan, and I later found out my ex bragged about it. That was a very disturbing phone call.
TokyoG33kyGal Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 one ex alienated me from my friends and he even talked to my aunt telling her that i was the bad one. he was constantly flirting with girls and dumped him for that. he cannot get over the idea that i just left him like that without regrets. when he learned i was dating, he tried so hard finding out the guy's e-mail and told him that i wasn't over him yet LOL. i went totally NC and ignored all the things he said to my friends. i was pissed, yes, but then i thought that's what he was aiming for...to get me pissed so i did not give him further pleasure from that.
