irc333 Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 I was wondering, if you're woman, and you had a lower back tat, and a man decides to compliment you on it, "Nice ink" or something like that. Or perhaps he might try to start a conversation about its design. Would that creep you out or no?
Jazzari Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 No, that wouldn't creep me out at all. I think its a great way to start a conversation.

Yeah, there was this woman that worked at a gym, wore really skimpy outfits all the time, gorgeous woman. When she did the tanning both, you could put designs or stickers on your body, to keep a certain part of the body from tanning, and after you took it off, it showed the design. In her case, it was a Playboy bunny. It was just above her panty line, and I pointed it out, "Hey, nice Play boy bunny you have there." And she looked down, gave a meek smile, and pulled up her shorts a little. LOL
Sanman Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 (edited) It depends on the way you approach the tattoo thing: Me: Hey nice tattoo Her: Thanks; backs away slowly; rolls eyes Now the way I prefer: Me: Hey, nice tattoo...What is that? Her: Thanks its a .... Do you have any tattoos? Me: Yeah, I have this one... I'm also planning on getting another on my ribs. It's going to be a.... Do you have any others? Her: Yeah I have a .... Me: Oh cool, that is a nice design. It always takes me forever to figure the details of my designs because I am really picky. Did you design that yourself? And on and on. That is a conversation about mutual interests so it is less creepy and tired. If you don't have a tattoo(s) either get a cool one or don't comment because as soon they ask you if you have one and you say no, they know it was just a lame line to hit on them and not a mutual interest. Author irc333 Posted May 16, 2011 Author Posted May 16, 2011 She thought you were teasing her which is apart of flirtation. Where was the follow up? Oh, she had a boyfriend at the time, fast forward to now, she's married.
Author irc333 Posted May 16, 2011 Author Posted May 16, 2011 Huh....doesn't make any sense, but if you say so. <shrug> It depends on the way you approach the tattoo thing: Me: Hey nice tattoo Her: Thanks; backs away slowly; rolls eyes Now the way I prefer: Me: Hey, nice tattoo...What is that? Sanman Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Huh....doesn't make any sense, but if you say so. <shrug> Put simply...if you just say nice tattoo, you are just some lame guy hitting on her as you are likely not the first genius to come up with that brilliant comment. If you show her that it is a real mutual interest than she is much more likely to respond.
iJester Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 I think using tattoos as you "in" works better if you have some of your own. I don't know for sure as I've only tried it when I've had tattoos but not without.
