Enjoyslife4 Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Hi, okay im going to give the whole rundown and try to keep it as short as possible so I don't bore anyone. So I met this beautiful girl recently at my buddy's sons baptism it's his wife best friend who had come up from ri to mass to stay the weekend of the baptism to there house which i also live at. I had know she was coming and known how gorgeous she was but really didn't think anything of it because i had heard not so good things about her so i kind of just kept an open mind and wanted to just find out what she was all about for my self.The night she got there the a couple of friends and family went out to dinner she seemed really quite and i'm not, was kind of just being a goof ball socializing with everyone as usual when i'm in a good mood and it seemed that she really thought i was funny laughing at all my jokes and making eye contact with me here and there and exchanged a few words here and there small talk basically and then we all split up for the night. So the next day was the baptism and she looked amazing didn't really think like that b4 that day. pretty much everything is the same at this point still quit and laughing at all my joke after the ceremony we talked a little bit but not much seeing it was a whole party and there wasn't such thing as alone time or whatever u want to call it. threw the day we were giving good vibes to each other smiles eye contact blah blah blah later that night went in the hot tub and got close to her after she was clearly trying to do the same but i wasn't completely sure so i back off come to find out the next morning after she had left earlier for work my buddy's wife told me she knew i backed off and wished i didn't and said oh he can be my weekend boyfriend my response was def positive and liked to hear that seeing i am not really looking for a relationship unless it just kinda happens. Talked to her the next day threw facebook chat seemed very interested got her number next day didn't even get a chance to text her and i get a text from a random # saying its her and she got my # threw my buddy's wife so thats good right? since then we have been texting varying from short nothings to questions to find out about her more. At this point i'm lost though what should i do next. she lives in rhode island don't know if she wants just someone for the weekends which is cool but i want to know would it be bad for me to start calling her just to talk and i would like to make plans to go out with her on a date. do you guys think i should keep texting her and maybe call her is there anything wrong with that i really do want to get to know her better but will it ruin my chances? Im just kind of lost right now cuz i don't want to mess anything up could you guys help straighten my thought out? lol Thank you. any help will be appreciated What are some good guidelines maybe that would help when trying to meet someone new and start to build a relationship...
guy777 Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Long distance has a really low chance of working. Unless you are planning on going to see her all the time, or her coming to see you, it's kind of hard to date: right? Just call her every few weeks and keep that cool connection you wrote about going. If she just left the house, and you don't plan on seeing her anytime soon, I would wait a couple weeks to call her.
