Lilmisus Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 If you were "dating" someone for a couple of weeks, and they started talking about a future with you, like marriage and kids, how would you feel? Or what do you think it said about the person? Especially if the person they were talking about it with wasn't you, but it was none other than..your mother? I ask because apparently my former crush (guy #2) is talking about marrying the girl that he was set up with a couple of weeks ago He told her mom that he wants to marry her someday, but she just wont give him a chance. She's not serious about him at all (her boyfriend died in a motorcycle accident earlier this year, and she's just dating around), and she's just playing games with him and playing with his head from what I've been told by a few people. I personally think that this is yet another indicator that I dodged a major bullet with this guy But I just wanted to share and see how y'all would feel if you were barely dating someone and they were this serious about you, without even knowing you at all. Would it freak you out like it's doing to her apparently? Or would you be swept off your feet that someone felt that strongly about you after three weeks?

Timmeh Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 I know of a guy like this. It was a month into the relationship and the guy started talking about their future together (marriage). She was concerned so he stopped talking about it. 5 months later he asked her to move in with him.
