Titania22 Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 it could mean it's 40degrees in the shade. (104degrees for you Americans)
AmericanHoney Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 I am wearing polo in my profile and I do not look slutty.
FrostFire Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 I am wearing polo in my profile and I do not look slutty. Do you post that you're a full-time nurse? How are you wearing your hair? Sadly, for you you're looking in all the wrong places for a partner. Most online dating things do not work out but that's not to say they don't. You would be better off meeting a guy in real life because most online dating things turn out to be just a place to pick-up women and men for one night stands. I know you wish that wasn't so but that's usually the reality of most of those sites. If you don't want men to objectify you for sex then stop looking in all the wrong places. Focus your efforts into real person-person contact. Yes you're a lot more vulnerable that way. But how's a profile with a gorgeous blonde from Florida that's a full-time nurse not asking for sexual attention. Blonde from Florida just screams sexual attention sorry to tell you that. The fact that you're blonde I guess? A lot of guys have a fantasy and thing for blondes . I guess you're lucky that you get this attention but not so lucky when you don't want that attention. It's just part of being blonde and being a woman. Embrace it or Resist it.
shadowofman Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 I ask women to go to make out in the park all the time. And I am successful sometimes. Enough for me to keep asking. Doesn't make me a perv. Though I am.
Sanman Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 I haven't joined POF. I joined Okcupid because my friends said I should give it a try and I did and now I am regretting it. I already got messages from people like I said asking me what am I wearing ( pervs?) and another one said hey can we go to a park and make out ? One guy even asked me to send him naughty photos:sick: Is that all guys on that site are interested in is sex? See, this is the attitude I get tired of hearing about. Yes, if you are attractive you are going to get these messages. That is why there is a delete button. These guys are easier to ignore than a creepy guy at a bar. The reason for it is simple; if you stand in one spot and ask every women to make out or have sex or give you dirty pics of them, eventually some woman will agree to it. I've had women use me for free dinners and try to string me along, but I don't quit at the first sign of bad behavior by the opposite sex. I have also had real relationships from online dating and have several friends engaged from it. If you are willing to do the work, then there are good people out there.
AmericanHoney Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 I am new to the whole online dating scene. Maybe I am looking in the wrong places. I found my last BF at a singles mixer and needless to say that one didn't work out too well so my friends said I should give online dating a try and now I am regretting it.

Again, you need to do the work regardless of the method you use to meet these people. If think there is this magic way to meet people who will treat you well without getting to know them and judging their character for yourself, you are kidding yourself. That is just a the dating process.
