Hello, I am very new at posting on forums. I was wondering what people think is the best way to approach someone on the street that you like?

Thanks

With a big smile and some humour.

Just come up to them and quietly ask, "how much?"

What do you mean by people; people in general? Those of the opposite sex you're attracted to?

Depending on where you live, approaching strangers on the street may not go over so well. I personally would be a little freaked out if some stranger/guy approached me on the street. I'd think he was a few screws loose and I'd get the hell outta there.

Why do you feel compelled to approach strangers on the street? What is your intention/goal here? Just to make friends, male or female or what? I would think there are probably better places to meet someone or make friends, IMO.

Very nice, how much? ;)

Can't speak for others, but if I'm randomly approached on the street my guard is up. Doesn't matter if it's a male or female that's approaching.

Ha. Last time I was propositioned on the street by a lady who I assume had a price, the question was "Do you do business?"

If your purpose is to pick up a woman, there are two possible ways.

Direct: You have the guts, you go to her, introduce yourself with a geniune smile or compliment something you noticed special to her (will probably be physical, be original) and move on from there.

Indirect: Ask the time, direction or something you noticed on her like "Excuse me, I was wondering where you got those earrings, I was planning to get my sister one like this!" and move on from there.
