hrtbroken99 Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 I met a guy about a year ago. We went on several dates and had a great connection. We did not sleep together though because I knew he had to leave for work out of state and I did not want to sleep with him right away. He had to go abroad for work purposes for several months. During those months we kept in limited contact via texts. He recently texted me and said he was returning back for work and wanted to meet. We met on two occasions briefly for dinner and caught up. He texted me after the dinner and asked to hang out again and said it was really nice to see you etc. He had to go to a family event the weekend after and let me know that. Long story short, now it’s been a few weeks and I have not heard from him. I had texted him a while back and he told me he was visiting family. I don’t know what to do? Should I just let t go? Also I happened to browse a dating site and saw that he was “Active” on a site. So my guess is that he is just looking around for fun? I don’t know. I am confused. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
D-Lish Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 Honestly? If someone wants to be with you, they will move mountains to do so. The fact that he hasn't should be telling you all you need to know. He's had a few opportunites, and he hasn't done anything about it. He's also active on a dating site when you've let him know you have interest in him, yet he can't even be bothered to text back. It sucks, but he's not that interested, all his actions point to that. You deserve someone that actively wants to take it a step further, and shows you as much- don't you think?

This guy sounds like he isnt looking for anything serious at the moment. So take life day by day and expect the unexpected. I try to anyway lol
