Shaun-Dro Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 Hello everyone. I'm back with another thread and in need of some advice. I spotted a cute, young black woman (I'm black as well) for the second time in as many days when I was out making a drop at the post office. I first noticed her when I came out of the post office and she was coming across the street. She was short (5'0-5'2), slim, and very curvy. She was maybe in her early 20s. She didn't see me at that moment, unfortunately. Then, just yesterday, when I came out of the post office, there she was again on the other side of the street, heading into a complex building with a bag over her shoulder, so I discerned that she lived there! Both incidents happened around the same time so I'm figuring that maybe she's coming home from work or college. I need help in how to approach her so I can get her number? Please dont say just go in and do it, because this is NYC and women are difficult, but it's not every day you'd see a good-looking black woman carrying herself with respect. These women have become rare nowadays and because of this, she has really gotten my attention. I would like a good opener to chat her up that doesn't come off to her so lame and obvious that could get her to stop and let me talk to her. I dont mind a polite rejection, as it's something that's expected with women over anything, but to at least engage her in conversation so I can get a shot at making her comfortable is most important here. Ladies, gentleman, please advise me on this issue. Women can also put in there 2 cents on how they'd like to be approached and with what topic to gauge their interest works best in a cold approach. Thanks!
