Understress Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 (edited) This is a long story, I'll try to make it short. I started working at Wal-Mart as a lot attendent(Pushing carts) and I met this girl who works in the McDonalds inside of Wal-Mart just inside of the front entrance. She's that type of girl that looks nerdy but she keeps trying to find guys who are way out of her league as in brolic and super cool. Everybody in Wal-Mart knows she is just reaching too far for a guy like that considering herself even her own brother. Anyways so I started talking to her. We got to the point where I called her cute and she called me cute. We hanged out once at Wal-Mart and started to text each other. But then I found out that when I hanged out with her, she thought I seemed creepy and wierd. She told me that I acted immature and like a kid when she herself is immature. But I listened to her and matured up. We texted a lot, and she told me to come down to McDonalds while I was off. I walked through a storm in midnight(literally) just to see her. We hanged out again. Then I texted her and told her I want to talk to her. We hanged out at Wal-Mart again and had fun as usual but then we talked about "us". She said she doesn't want to date and that she doesn't like me. But here's the thing, me and her are like the same exact thing. Only maybe 5 differences... that's it. She stopped texting me, and associating with me. So me and my friends and even people at McDonalds tried to help me, because they know I'm not a creeper and know I'm pretty cool. They tried to get me have one more chance but she didn't. Then last night she texted me(after a while) telling me if I start smoking or drinking that she's going to kill me. I asked her why it matters to her and she avoided an answer. I tried to get to talk to her last night at McDonalds but she said she didn't want to. She then today took me off her facebook. I like this girl so much because we have so much in common, I would do anything to have another chance. She's not in the same category as "normal" girls. and she desperately wants a boyfriend. There is nothing wrong with me, and we'd make a perfect couple. I don't know what to do. (Any prayers for me having guidance to know what to do would be appreciated) and I don't want to give up on her. What should I do? Edited May 13, 2011 by Understress
VicJay79 Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 UnderStress, It seems this girl just likes you as a friend. Remember just because you a lot of commonalities with a person doesn't mean they will date you. She also seems fairly young, and she has a lot of 'growing' up to do. The sad reality is a lot of people don't really know what they want OR appreciate what they could have. Your situation is the story of my life when I was younger. I had a lot of great chemistry with a lot of people, but I just couldn't close the deal. My recommendation for you is to relax. I know being single is hard and it gets lonely at times....
