Hello everyone,

I spent 5 blissful weeks with my SO in Bogota. Discovering a new city and country and spending so much time with her was amazing, being with her in her own backyard with her friends and family was amazing. We got married and the wedding was huge, over 100 people and a church and some of my friends and family came to Colombia too.

So it has been amazing and beyond my expectations in every way. But it had to end and I am now back in London and back to speaking on Skype etc. The difference now is that I have a ring on my finger and the end to my LDR is in sight - my wife has her spouse visa interview in 2 weeks at the British Embassy in Bogota and hopefully she will be moving permanatly to London in July.

But it's really hard to be apart again and I dont want to be in London, I want to be with her. It doesnt get easier does it?

Hope it is going well for everyone.

Congrats on the wedding!! :bunny::bunny::bunny:

It does get easier, especially in your case. Though July may seem like a far off place today, realistically it is not far away at all. You are at the tail end of this thing and that has to give you hope and inspiration :love:
