Mapleleaf Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 I've met women who are friendly and even flirtatious towards me and they have mentioned that they have a boyfriend or a husband, and yet, they NEVER even talk about the guy unless I ask about him. Why is that? Thanks.
carhill Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 Talking about a SO/spouse to an object of flirtation is typically tampon/orbiter insertion behavior, and smart ego feeders avoid such behaviors. Insert the disclaimer and proceed with the feed. If things get a bit too 'personal', well 'you knew I am married'. Sometimes the best move is not to play. IME, that's 'all of the time'. Good luck.
