fearless1 Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 I dreamt about my ex 3 nights in a row now and it's driving me crazy I wanna forget and dreaming about her almost every night makes it harder! What the f*ck does that mean? I've been on strict NC for 16 days already (second try) supposed to be my 29th day and it's only this week that she keeps on appearing and appearing in my dreams. First night we were so happy, second night found out she was lying, third night there she is again. F*ck
Stilicho Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 it happens man. for the first month after breaking with my x, i dreamt of her almost every night. here i am 4 1/2 months later, full n.c, fully over her(at least consciously), and she still occasionally pops up in my dreams. stay nc, it gets easier

radiodarcy Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 yeah. he randomly pops in there at some point during the night. i've given up trying to figure out what it means. although i'd probably have a better chance at analyzing those dreams than i would anything else he did during these past two and a half years...

We are always happy in my dreams, and we're married and have kids together - this is what I wanted to happen, so it makes sense that I keep replaying this in my dreams...
Kodo Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Every single night. I wake up every morning "forgetting" it was a dream for a brief moment. It's the worst feeling in the world when you dream that everything has been fixed and back on track... only to wake up.

I interpreted it as he is ONLY nice to me in my DREAMS - not in reality. That's when the dreams stopped.

In the dream, I was royally pissed that he would go to such lengths to be so rude and nosy but after waking up, couldn't stop laughing.
RareBreed Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 Omg I had a dream about her last night lmao. I dreamt she was next to me sleeping. I woke up quick, looked next to me, realized I was spazzing & laughed before I knocked back out. It was the weirdest thing ever!
MyHeartHurtsOuch Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 same here i have the same two dreams....one we are happy and in love and back together and then i wake up feeling horrible cause it wasnt real and the other dream hes with a girl and kissing her and happy and i'm standing there watching...so my dreams are my ideal situation and my worst nightmare...thats what dreams are....
PelicanPete Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 I only had two dreams about her. Both of her telling me that she misses me and loves me and wants me back in her life, and the dreams ending in me saying hell no and leaving her wherever she is.
CiCi Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 I think we dream about them, because we repress our emotions of them during our waking moment. But when we're asleep we cannot control our emotions and therefore they appear in our dreams.
