whoknowswhattodo Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 (edited) Ok the ex dumped me on a sunday and was going to give me my gas card back on tuesday. The question is, she broke up with me on sunday but didn't have a problem filling her car up on my bill on monday and tuesday before she came to my house she topped off her tank ( it was 3 gallons). Should I send her the bill for the gas she got on my card? She lives with her mother so I know she would say something. Idk what to do. I don't care about money but she broke up with me for another guy. He can pay that bill but idk what to do. It was 25 gallons on monday, 3 gallons on tuesday. Edited May 9, 2011 by whoknowswhattodo
vsmini Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 What a tacky B*tch. Send her off a nice message telling her what a class act she is by taking your money to pay for her gas. Tell her it's a parting gift. Then go no contact and don't respond to a word she says.
geegirl Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 Let it go. Don't engage. Months from now you'd have forgotten the gas and will be well on your way to being away from her selfish behind.
x heather x Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 in my opinion you should send her the bill, its not fair that she gets to take advantage of you like that x

You don't need that fight and it's not worth it in the long run. Chances are she is sort of hoping for a fight...a little something to help justify her leaving - look at what a monster you are blowing up at her over some stupid gas for her stupid car....get my drift?? It's better if you just leave it be. However...the next time you're forced to enter your phone number on some junk site I wouldn't think twice about putting hers in their with some pseudonym and knowing that while you did was just as childish - your bill is paid off while she will be getting calls for months.

Yes! she is so tacky. Send her the bill and tell her it's a goodbye-gift. Ignore her utterly then.
