STOP.

 

Spend a couple of minutes thinking about the repercussions and what it will do to you emotionally. Logically and rationally.

 

Reach out and the high is temporary. You will come crashing down again.

 

Stay the course, FEEL THE DISCOMFORT. No way around it. Soon you will be able to manage these moments with much determination and resilience.

 

Don't react to your feelings. Let them come and let them pass. It is normal. When they come it is not for you to give in but to fight through.

 

Give in and you stay stuck. Break NC and it takes you back to where you were a few days ago, feeling like crap again.
