Nexus One Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 (edited) Yes...and big sunglasses are a musthave nowadays...at least in the young 20's and under crowd. I don't like the aesthetics of those glasses, it's unsophisticated design in my opinion. (They also cover up the face of the woman too much) That's why I think those glasses are a turn-off me. I feel the same about tiger/leopard/zebra print clothing and large circular earrings and red nail polish. It just looks bad in my opinion. That doesn't mean I judge those women on a personal basis. I just don't like what they wear in terms of taste, because it makes them look trashy, but that doesn't mean I really do judge them as actually BEING trashy. I think there's where you guys are misunderstanding me. Can't help it though. I'm sure there are women who can think up similar turn-offs for men. Edited May 11, 2011 by Nexus One
Author Ginger Beer Posted May 11, 2011 Author Posted May 11, 2011 I find this thread (and others like it) hilarious. Nothing speaks louder about a person's character than the things he/she expects of a partner. But eh, sod it, I'll join the fun and entertain y'all with my more unreasonable turn-offs: - Doesn't know his way around the computer. Huge turn-off to have to hold his hand through the reformatting process. - Doesn't have a good command of English. - Wears strong cologne. Sorry, I just cannot stomach it. - Vain and metrosexual. I take 10 minutes to get ready to go out; he'd better be quicker than that. - Isn't well-read. Love guys with the encyclopedia-like mental depository of Sheldon in Big Bang Theory. Nothing against guys who are the opposite of the above, of course; just my quirks. I did say they were unreasonable, no? I'm nearly as bad as most of my girl friends. More turn-offs: - Protruding collarbones. - Skinny/weird-shaped arms.
Pianiste Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 - Being able to see his underwear. Doesn't matter if it's the name of the brand sticking out above your pants or your jeans starting below your butt, both are big no-no's! - More in the looks/clothing department: dreadlocks, bling, very tight shirt/jeans, too many piercings/tattoos and too big of a focus on brands. - Very indecisive what to do with his life. - Close-minded. - Judgmental. - Only into popular culture but does have a strong, unsubstantiated opinion on the rest. - Hypocrite. - Slave to social media. - Always late with a sloppy excuse. - Sees himself as the clumsiest person on earth and has to remind you everytime something goes wrong, which is all the time. - No humor and no sarcasm detector. - Bad manners. - Uses the word "like" too much. - Bad breath. - Annoying voice/laugh. - Can't accept a compliment. - Votes for a political party but has no idea why. There's some more that have already passed the revue in the earlier posts but I'll stop here. ;-)
DreamerGirl27 Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 -ugly That's really my only and biggest turn off.
Flgirl44 Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 Guys that expect their women to be "good girls" but then they have some crazy amount of partners themselves. Guys that call a girl a slut that they just slept with. Basically a hypocrite.
Rinnix Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 -ugly That's really my only and biggest turn off. So if the guy was insanely good looking you can overlook everything else? Womanizer, racist, negative attitude?

Guys that call a girl a slut that they just slept with. Basically a hypocrite. Agreed 100%. Though, I don't have much interest in men who sleep around often either (Or overly experienced past, unless it stays in past.) Id never resort to putting someone down or making them feel low due to there experiences.
Ross MwcFan Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 7. Using sex/sexual flirting as a way to attract me. Isn't that what all women do as a way of attracting a man? Can't see what's wrong with it. In no order, 1. Being a prude 2. Being nasty 3. Being so skinny her ribs are showing 4. Being controlling 5. Being too uptight That's all I can think of for now.
Els Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 So if the guy was insanely good looking you can overlook everything else? Womanizer, racist, negative attitude? That poster is a troll, Rinnix...
Flgirl44 Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 Lmao what does this post tell you? Lemme hit! The calling a girl a slut they just slept with comment was about my ex. He slept with a girl, the first night he met her, she moved really fast and obviously spares nothing for her relationships, but then he acted surprised like her high number of partners made her a slut. And it bothered me how he had no problem playing into her slutty behavior but somehow he was not a slut by being right there with her and accepting the behavior. It's like only once her number of partners was outed was she "slutty" , more like she was a slut by her actions not some arbitrary number, and so are you pal...?

Not flirting where it's rude. It's hard to give an example but if a girl comes across as sexual too soon, it's a turn off. Much better to try and connect with me on a friendly level. At least that's how I prefer it.
MrNate Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 Mr. Nate's list of turn-offs!: -Women who wear certain tight clothing when there is no curves (whats the point) -Women who don't wear clothes that fit their form (muffin tops, those tank tops that show the bad kind of jiggle. big one.) -Boring girls -Girls with no passion ( another big one. I can be pretty passionate about things. That shi* get's me hella attracted to a girl when she shows that she is passionate about something) -Girls who don't dress feminine. (I'm a manly man. I likes the feminine girly girls.) Let me be the man. You be supportive and beautiful. I'm a simple guy. -Women that aren't open minded. There's a whole world out there. Live it with me. Finally: Flat girls. By this i mean: Women who have no curves anywhere. -Why the turn off? I have big hands. And as such, I like to grab....and grab some more.. Hm, this seems to be the gist of it. Thank you for tuning in.
ladyinlimbo Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 Him: 1. Loud, obnoxious, center-of-attention type 2. Drops F-bombs constantly 3. Gross long toenails, or fingernails for that matter 4. Really yellow teeth 9. Man boobs 10. Has to dominate all conversations

But, I'm not a dude, so I don't have to grab anything. lol but what I find attractive in girls is very small boobs and no ass and basically looking like they are 16.
DreamerGirl27 Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 That poster is a troll, Rinnix... Um, no I am not, thanks. Everything I am saying I feel to the 110th percent. Trolls post stuff to invoke stuff. I'm not trying to invoke anything, I'm being honest.
