Shorty00 Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 Okay. So i went on a group outing with a couple of my guy friends last weekend. The guy i kind of fancy was there and so was a mutual friends of ours. I talk to this guy sometimes and always found him to be extremely shy... That night as i walked in and gave everyone a hug and a kiss when i was approaching the subject, his closet friend was smiling and kinda dancing. (they didnt know that i saw). As the night continued, i noticed that it was always me & him and his friends were just getting us drinks and leaving us alone. This was the longest conversation we had ever. As we started to get up and dancing, he isolated me from everyone and keeping dirty dancing with me and putting his hands on my waist or holding my hand as we walked to the club. The funny thing is that as his guys friends were off looking at podium dancers and other chicks - he remained by my side and just danced with me. I had to leave early as really by this time we were all alittle drunk. I hugged my friends and gave him a a kiss on the cheek and walked out. 3 questions - as this shy guy did a total 180 on me. 1. Do you think that he may like me? 2. His friends played a part at the night? 3. Why didnt he ask for my phone number? (we have mutal friends)

Why didnt he ask for my phone number? (we have mutal friends) 1. I generally only want to dance with girls that I like, but not every guy is like that, some guys would dance with just any girl. So if he's like me then he quite probably likes you, if he's one of those guys that would dance with just about anyone, then I wouldn't put a whole lot of weight on it. 2. Not sure I understand the question. Do you mean they purposefully went to look at those women and left you two alone as part of a plan? 3. There are several possibilities here. - It didn't cross his mind. - He was too shy. - He's not into you after all and just danced with you for fun. - You guys have mutual friends. Perhaps he thought he would ask his friends how to contact you instead of asking you directly. - He needs more time to figure out if he likes you "like that".

Let me know. :love:" Then give him the note when you get the chance. Then look at his reaction while he reads it and smile at him when he looks at you. But leave him the opportunity to think about his answer, some girls can overwhelm a guy by demanding an answer immediately. So if you're smart you'll give him the note at a moment you don't have to interact with him immediately afterwards, so that he can give you an answer without the immediate pressure of time. Then once you guys get talking and he has indicated that he likes you, then you could start talking about hanging out together or dating. Edited May 9, 2011 by Nexus One

Let me know. :love:" Then give him the note when you get the chance. assuming you were serious...if a girl did this with me, i'd find it cute and sweet- don't get me wrong. but i'd also find it lacking in imagination and, frankly it won't make me feel more attracted. there are other ways to get the message across whilst being flirty and fun.
runner Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 If the guy is attracted then it won't matter how the message is conveyed. especially if the guy is a nerd robot who spends all his time in the lab. may as well skip the note and just drop your pants in front of him.

The point of the note is to give him time to think about a response. I've had girls come up to me of which I never knew they liked me and who I never properly thought about as potential girlfriend material and when they ask you out of the blue, then you don't necessarily have an answer ready in that split second, but those girls are waiting for an answer at that moment. That's why I like the note strategy. Ok it's not original, but it's about the girl, not the note.
vsmini Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 If you really want him and he is a shy guy then you'll need to go after him. If you don't care for him then there is nothing you need to do. He more than likely won't be hunting you down. This could work but I've seen a lot of girls mistake disinterest for shyness and spend a lot of time and energy chasing after a guy that just doesn't care but the woman will insist he's just shy. I guess she can make the call but even the shy ones will make their intentions known quite quickly. If a guy wants to be with you he will make it happen.
