Is there something she is trying to tell me? Just curious about the psychology aspect of this...

I know some women seem to have that clock ticking in their mind ... Again, the other possibility is that she already is. That for her, it is more important than a career or money. She said she 'envies' her friends, who have already started a family ... and she wishes she was there in her life as well. You need to have a frank discussion with your girlfriend immediately.
Lorelei_Lane Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 Being a woman without children yet, I can see what she's doing. She's subconsciously letting her want and desire for children show. My Facebook picture is of my niece, but I personally don't have children. I know the mindset though, I want them badly but the timing is awful for my hubby and I. Our clocks tick very loudly, especially when our friends and family start having children. A majority of my friends and my husband's friends have children. We both mention it but like I said, it's bad timing so my desire shows through the pictures I post too. Just have a discussion with her and see how she feels. Women feel the pressure to have children more than men sometimes, so that may be all it is.
threebyfate Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 Without knowing more about the situation, it's difficult to guess why she's putting up pics with kids. It might be that she: likes those particular pictures of herself,wants to shift your perspective of her to marriage/mother material.
