I am a bit of a nerd and am awkward with women. I am extremely well educated, nice and loving. I am not a stalker and have been in several very healthy relationships. Please have a look at this girl http://www.okcupid.com/profile/blahblahlucy I have never met her and am ready to contact her with a first email. This is what I wrote to her:Hey, My name is Guy. I try my darndest to find cool people that I also match up with on this site. I set all kinds of filters and look around. It becomes tiring, and then I just give up and turn the site off for weeks. Okay, so, I am using this quickmatch thing, which I never use, and suddenly up pops this very cute, very cool looking girl.... I love music, movies and driving in the country. I know that synthesizers sound almost as amazing as distorted guitars when they are cranked up so high that you feel it in your bellybutton. I hope to hear from you. Id just approach her with something simple and not too overwhelming. Her profile isn't overly serious, so id stick with a short but good message. Ask her about one of her interests listed on her profile.
