since all the postings here has been about negativity, i want to show something diferrent. i have found LDR's to be a true test between lovers and it has been a truly great experience. it does hurt sometimes, and i do cry myself to sleep, but i breathe easier knowing that someone not with me is caring for me. i think LDR's are a test.

it's easier to sleep when you know that eventhough you're far away, when you do see each other again, there would be a special night... *ahem*

i dont know if that made sense but i think my point is clearly understood here.

LDR's are definitely not all bad. Thanks for posting something positive, cookie.

I've been in a few, and I don't regret them. It's amazing the feelings you can have for someone so far away - how they can develop rather quickly. You always miss the physical touch, being held, but the love is still there.

It's hard sometimes, but if the person is special enough, it's worth the pain being apart until you find some way to be together.

I agree with you two, LDR's can be great. And yes, they are definately a test. LDR's also get rid of all that materialistic and image bull****. It's real raw love, just your heart and feelings. The good physical stuff comes later. ;)

I think we're sugarcoating.

They're inconvenient.

They're inconvenient.

Nobody said they weren't.

I know they can be great, especially when you're 20. How about if you're 26? Are you still gonna risk waiting for someone?

I think that LDR are tough. Very tough. I wouldn't deliberately get into one.

BTW, what do you understand by LDR? Being... 500 km apart? 1000 km? Seeing eachother only once a fortnight? Once a months? Just curious if we have the same definition of it.
