Well, the dust has settled so to speak. 6+ months ago, when we almost broke up, she told me she needed time. she said i broke her heart, and she needed time to get to a place where she could start working on the relationship. when i tried to talk to her about what we each could do to work on this, her response was that her presence should be enough for me, and that fact that she was still around should have been enough.

Then, she distanced herself from me emotionally, physically, and and had no time for anything. A couple weeks ago, i asked her who she was seeing, and she got pissed and said no one.

So, what does it mean, she needs time. i am moving on, the hardest part is behind me.

I just want to know, what the heck "i need time" means.

can a woman tell me since this came from a woman??

thanks!

I'll never understand women, never. When you think that their boyfriend would be needed most they push you away.

I'm a woman, but I don't understand every women.

I need time can mean lots of things, but truly whatever it means always move on first. Reason being, she's not doing anything to want you back and not even saying anything that she wants you.

I need time can mean:

- I don't want this relationship anymore but I don't know or don't want to tell you the truth (I'm afraid...to speak the truth)

- I'm confused about us (But I don't know if I still want to be with you or not.)

- I'm super stressed (But I don't think you can help me.)

There are a few I can think of.
