I like you. I hope the mods don't delete that because it's totally relevant. You see, the culpability of Christ's death argument is about as old and neccessary as ANOTHER Steven Seagal movie. Don't delete that up there, it's funny.

I am getting tired of arguing with you dyermaker, you seem to be the typical intellectual that refuses to see anything outside of the debate club rules "box". The debate club is for high school and if it is for college that is a horrible yet very telling thing about society. Modern man is a dwarf, he is dwarfed by his rationality and therefore what is very reasonable may seem very odd to him sometimes. If you think about it, calculation usually requires effort and true thinking is effortless and using calculation excessively is the like "saving forwards"*, which is very consistant with the standard brand Christian attitude towards life.

*although I know that philosophers like to discuss things purely theoretically which is half the problem, because calculation is mostly used in the world towards an end.

The Jews and the Roman officals only played part in the death of Jesus. But when you look at it, we all played a part in the death of Jesus. What was the soul-purpose of Jesus dying? To save us from our sins. Therefore, we nailed him to that tree, we cried crucify him! We can't point fingers, we are just as guilty as the rest.

There is no need to agree or disagree on beliefs - but remember one thing... LOVE is all that matters.
