JasonRules Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 While I'm trying this, I'm actually getting ready to go out on a date. She's educated, beautiful, tall, smart, cultured, intelligent and a host of other things my ex will never be. I can sit at home and cry all day and be depressed, but I REFUSE TO ALLOW ANYONE TO BREAK ME. I choose to move on with my life and give myself a chance to meet the person who WILL COMPLIMENT MY LIFE. Ask yourselves today; what did I do today to add meaning or value to my life? Whatever it is, DO IT. Don't sulk over your exes. Get out, meet people, and LIVE YOUR LIVES TO THE FULLEST! Happy month and happy Sunday to all of you!

cerridwen Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Happy Sunday, Jason! Enjoy your date! I very much agree. It can be very helpful to put yourself into motion before the feelings of recovery come---thoughts follow action kind of thing. I recommend trying if for people who have plateaued in their recovery.
