I've seen people from other countries who are shy and introverted and yet they have a gf/bf.

But in America, you have to be the one that apprroaches and you have to be confident and all that . else you get nothing.

In those other cultures i've seen, the guy can be really shy and nerd and yet he has a hot girlfriend.

AND They don't have to do any approaching or pickup lines or whatever. It just comes naturally because of the situations they have in their culture i guess.

Cause i even asked one of my foreign friends about how peopel in their culture get GF/BF and she just said she didn't have to do anything to get her husband. that people there just get BF/GF with the people they know or friends introduce eachother or whatever.

and mainly from school or something.

America is more independent society so it's really hard.

all the OKcupid girls say they want an independent confident guy so....man, this is really difficult. for me as a quiet/shy guy.

I've had some opportunities where i could've talked to american girls but they seem like they wouldn't like me at all. Like last time in a bus place, there was a really pretty american girl. but i just knew she would not consider me american cause i'm shy and accent so i just gave up.

As a shy guy do i have any chance for dating and relationship?

Even in my culture(i'm american but latino) all the latinos think i'm stupid and weird cause they like to talk alot and party and i dont, and so i don't fit in.

Well i'mfine trying and being the first to talk(even though i'm shy i'd do it and have done it but not yet with american girls)...but I have fear cause most won't like me and i know it.

so that's why i don't try

In America the man has to make the first move and be the aggresor in all cases.

In some countrys such as Sweden, it's quite common for the woman to make the first move and pursue the guy.

Infact it's probably 50/50 as to who pursues who so it's a good country for a shy and quiet guy such as yourself who wants a girl.

Unfortunatley, countrys like Sweden and other countrys where where women often pursue the guy. Has it's drawbacks like...

1) It's full of feminists 2) Communists 3) Liberals 4) And it's Extremeley politically correct.

Swedish women want to eliminate all gender roles. They make small boys where pink clothes and dresses. They work and be the breadwinner while the man stays at home.

That's true in Sweden. Brazil is the same way, but not as politically correct or the feminism. It's like that in Brazil because the women outnumber the men by a significant margin. They have no choice, but to make the first move.

But, what that also shows is that the whole concept of men approaching, making the first move, etc has nothing to do with biology. It's social conditioning.
