Up until about 6 weeks ago my SO and I have been talking online almost every day for a few hours, and then his laptop decided to die. He wasn't able to repair it and can't afford to buy a new one right now. We are now only able to talk online (Skype or MSN) once every week or two. Then about 3 weeks ago his cellphone broke, so that meant we couldn't even text anymore. This basically meant that we went from talking online almost everyday plus emails/texting in between to literally no contact.

He recently got a phone again so we're able to text again, however the day after he got the phone I had no credit to text him and due to being busy I was only able to get credit the following day. My silence then resulted in him getting mad at me and calling me a hypocrite for complaining that I couldn't text and then not texting him once he had gotten a phone. I explained the reasons to him, but he refuses to believe me. Now he is questioning if everything we're doing is even worth it.

I just don't know how to deal with the fact that we rarely talk anymore. Any advice on this would be much appreciated.
