one goal Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 As I said I asked her nicely if I could not attend class because of the conflict I have with her. Anyways she replied with this tonight. All I asked was if I could turn in my last assignment outside of class. This is her reply. She sounds mad! I said in other post I wanted to talk to the dept chair, but do you think I should go directly to the dept dean which is over the chair? I've seen her rate my professor reviews, and how she talks to others students she doesn't like, and she could really mess my final grade up. You are required to attend the remainder of classes per the semester. You don't get to dictate to me how you would like the rest of the semester to run, regardless of your actions.

Dust Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 I could care less if he is real as this is a real problem. I’ve faced professors who I’ve felt treated me unfairly. Not much you can really do accept beg and plead and try to get them to feel sorry for you. Going over there head with the school shouldn’t be done until you see your final grade. I’ve tried that and had no success.

You were hot for teacher, and that teacher has handled things ethically and correctly according to the book. You don't get to be exempt from the requirements that every single other student has to abide by because you have crazy thoughts in your head. You talk about her as a typical crazy woman as if she played a part in any of this. She's your prof and you've caused so much ridiculous drama, all of which is your own doing. You're acting like this is a woman reacting crazy over a break up- when she is just doing her job and you are a stalker. Get a grip.

On the other hand if this is for real, I could see how frustration could be building within Professor Hotlips and this is how she's expressing it. Anyway, if he's clowning this story is old and he should withdraw from the board and start working on a new scenario for the summer and the fall. If it's real I hope his mom gets the lead out and drop him off at Sunnybrook quick...
