My gf ended it with me and has now said she needs time apart to think things over. Should I move on. How do I forget someone I really liked? This was my first ever serious relationship. Is that why I feel so empty and fearful that I won't meet anyone again. I'm worried what I will do if I see her with another man.

I have told her that I will not take her back if she starts dating other people. Was that the right thing to do?

Go full no contact. Rid your surroundings of the things that remind you of her. Move on.

I know that sounds blunt, but trust me, it's for the best.

Don't be her doormat. Focus on yourself for a little while -- your goals, dreams, ambitions, etc. Put your energy into that as well as into your hobbies.

In the meantime, as an aside, stay social.

Everything will be OK in the end, with time passing and energy being utilized.

we work at the same place where gossip is rife. So people will no doubt tell me about what she is up to. I wanted ignorance to be bliss.

Logically and common sense, once a relationship ended, always move on. No questions and doubts about.

Start NC.
