evilmonkey2008 Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 I was with a girl for 3 years, then out of the blue she just left me for another guy. She said she changed, and wasn't feeling it! Anywho after all that initial heart ache and pain! I still think about her everyday, and it sucks I think I want her back! We have been no contact for 3 months now, but when I was trying to win her back she just didn't want to know and I made it worse. I font get it how she can move on so fast yet I'm still stuck in limbo will I ever get over it!!!!! Will I ever love again! Why am o still thinking about her when she clearly doesnt give a **** about me!!!

As for getting over this, well we're all different so how long it takes to get over someone varies from person to person. There's no set rules. Just stay NC, spend time on yourself and do the things you used to do before she came along - I trust you did live before her didn't you? I know it's tough (I'm only on my 5th week of nc) but getting back in touch with old friends, going places I've not been before, keeping busy both at home and work... all those things help me heal. As for them coming back when you go nc, well I believe that only happens if they truly want to. You have no say or control over it. But I do know that things happen when we least expect them - I'm not saying she'll call just as your skydiving or sailing, but surely you'd prefer to be doing that rather then sitting by the phone waiting for her!
