lonelyandsick Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 I'm not specifically speaking for my situation (I'm still too early in grieving to really know if I want him back or not), but in general. How is NC good for dumpers? I keep reading about dumpees using NC and it possibly helping their ex want them back, but what if the dumper DOES want them back and also uses NC to help? They will both be ignoring each other. Am I just overtired or does this not make sense?

If both are really stubborn and waiting out for the other one to break the ice they could end up never talking. In my mind the responsibility rests more on the dumper then the dumpee. It was the dumpers decision to end the relationship so they should have to be the one to reach out.
