one goal Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 In the class with the hot teacher. She even said she liked my tie, and did a good job. It was on my favorite hockey team, and it sounded like she knew a little about hockey possibly. the class was impressed too. So anyways I saw this is a slight opportunity. She wasn't mean at all to me today. So I came up with the idea of asking if her and a friend want to go to a game with me sometime because the guy next to me also has season tickets and lets me use them sometimes if he can't make it. So I sent her this email. Hey there. I noticed in class you mentioned the hockey a little bit. I didn't know if you're into hockey much or not but the guy who sits next to me has a couple season tickets as well, and lets me have them sometimes since he can't make it to all the games. If you and a friend ever want to go to a game just let me know, or if you were wanting to learn about hockey I'll be more then happy to take you to a game sometime and teach you about it. btw I'm not trying to sound inappropriate like in the past because I don't mean it in that context. I just figured since I wont be your student anymore, and because I like you so much and the class as well that I'd do something nice for you.
Author one goal Posted April 28, 2011 Author Posted April 28, 2011 IS there a chance she can possibly say yes to this at least?
utterer of lies Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 IS there a chance she can possibly say yes to this at least? Of course. And don't let the fact that the chance is below 0.0001% hold you back. Destiny awaits.

It was on my favorite hockey team, and it sounded like she knew a little about hockey possibly. the class was impressed too. Okay, she commented that she liked your tie. she was being nice because she has to be and with the whole class watching she's not going to be mean to you. So anyways I saw this is a slight opportunity. She wasn't mean at all to me today. So I came up with the idea of asking if her and a friend want to go to a game with me sometime because the guy next to me also has season tickets and lets me use them sometimes if he can't make it. So I sent her this email. how do you see this as a slight opportunity? her commenting on your tie and telling you you did a good job with the presentation?? Seriously OG, I want to know! Hey there. I noticed in class you mentioned the hockey a little bit. I didn't know if you're into hockey much or not but the guy who sits next to me has a couple season tickets as well, and lets me have them sometimes since he can't make it to all the games. OMG...really? you sent that? btw I'm not trying to sound inappropriate like in the past because I don't mean it in that context. I just figured since I wont be your student anymore, and because I like you so much and the class as well that I'd do something nice for you. And you said this to her in a email, for real??? OG...Somedude summed it up perfectly. You are asking for it, setting yourself up for failure with her. Again. Unbelievable. IS there a chance she can possibly say yes to this at least? NOT ONE CHANGE. No no no way. It ain't gonna happen. Edited April 29, 2011 by a LoveShack.org Moderator

No offense but it's reactions/posts like yours that will encourage this dude to keep on posting. This poster has created the ultimate online alter-ego to post something ridiculous, get a reaction, and then laugh at you as you respond seriously to his bait. You should either ignore his posts or get that he's joking the board.

What do you mean by setting myself up for failure? I wasn't asking her out. About Facebook, if I cancel the friend request she didn't approve, and resend it, would that piss her off? I mean if over the summer I send another friend request. Could I get in trouble?
Lilmisus Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 Can I just say that when his last thread got deleted and the thread before that got locked, I sincerely hoped that his account was unable to post anymore threads. That it meant good things for us in regards of not having to hear this ridiculous story anymore. It's a major disappointment that he can still . It makes my head hurt just seeing the name "One Goal" now.....
Professor X Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 Just farm some posts as I do, might as well get the most out of it
whichwayisup Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 What do you mean by setting myself up for failure? I wasn't asking her out. About Facebook, if I cancel the friend request she didn't approve, and resend it, would that piss her off? I mean if over the summer I send another friend request. Could I get in trouble? You are manipulating her. By the hockey tickets (she IS going to refuse them because those tickets come with strings) you say take them, bring a friend, I know you love hockey etc., but the thing is, she doesn't want to "owe" you. That is what I mean by setting yourself up. More rejection. You still don't get it, that she wants no friendship or anything with you. She wants you to leave her alone, except when it comes to stuff relating to school issues and work related questions. No personal stuff. she's shut you out and shut you down every time. No it wouldn't piss her off at all. Infact, she's probably going to feel relieved. Go ahead, cancel the friend request. And no, you do not send her another request in the future, over the summer or anytime. Let it go. Will you get into trouble? Well, if you keep on intruding in her life, then she WILL get pissed off.

I think he's a fella whom has some issues and is having a difficult time figuring out reality vs fantasy/ wishful and hopeful thinking. It's scary, but the mind can convince one of anything ,even though WE ALL KNOW the reality of his situation, for some reason, he can't.
Lucky_One Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 Come on, One Goal, why don't you tell the board how you are going to spread rumors about your teacher?
Author one goal Posted April 29, 2011 Author Posted April 29, 2011 Come on, One Goal, why don't you tell the board how you are going to spread rumors about your teacher? No, I wouldn't do that. I feel hurt though because She is not nice to me in return. I try and be polite to her and she isn't that same back.
Lucky_One Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 Bull. You post constantly on here, asking advice on whether or not you should perform a specific action. We tell you not to, and you turn around and do it anyway. So when you asked me if you should spread rumors about her, and I told you no, why wouldn't I expect you to do so?

IMO you might have a chance if you show to her that you are emotionally stable/ mature and have a good common sense.
Author one goal Posted April 29, 2011 Author Posted April 29, 2011 IMO you might have a chance if you show to her that you are emotionally stable/ mature and have a good common sense. I am stable. Really though do you mean by that for the next week not hit on her or anything? There is less than two weeks left in class though. So what do I have to do the last day of class that will change her mind?
Author one goal Posted April 29, 2011 Author Posted April 29, 2011 I've been thinking about this tonight, but since I really have no work left in her class except one small assignment should I maybe ask her if it would be possible to remove myself from the situation and ask if I can complete it outside of class? Like I said I really have no work left. The next two classes is just others presenting, then a small assignment last day of class.

Just do your school work and forget about her. Last day of class, wave to her and say bye! Then walk out of the classroom and never look back.

Why in the heck would you ask her to something that can't possibly happen until the fall? In my part of the world, we are in the NHL play-offs, and NO ONE gives up season tickets to a play-off game, so that some idiot who asks his teacher out via a grammatically poor email can go to a game. Leave. Her. Alone. Make. A. Decision. About. Your. Own. Schooling. On. Your. Own. If you don't want to go to class, then don't go to freaking class. Why in the heck would you act even more like a little boy who doesn't want to skip without permission? Sheesh. And please stop PMing me. If you call me hot one more time via PM, then my H is going to start posting on here.
one goal's mother Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 I'll be taking you to the pyschiatrist tomorrow, honey. No log off the computer and go take your pills.

I emailed her this morning and asked her since I done my presentation and all I have to do is one last small assignment, if I can just do it outside class and turn it in. I told her I'm sorry for making her uncomfortable. I decided I have no shot with her. I like her though so I don't want her to feel creeped out in class by me so I want to spare her feelings. If she doesn't reply back then I'll ask the dept head if I can do it outside of class.
