idontunderstand Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 I'm a guy and I met this girl who I thought was interesting. We started slow for like a week but from then on we started talking on the phone about every night. In addition to that we texted each other lots. Everything seemed good. We were always making each other happy and all conversations were always full and never awkward. She would always ask me if I wanted to talk on the phone, I always wanted to so of course we always did. Later on, she'd always text me first in the morning (her timezone allowed her to wake up before me) and we'd continue to text throughout the day. Everything was pleasant, and now we stopped talking. Why? And what should I do next, if anything?
Enchanted Girl Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 How long has she not been talking to you for? Have you asked her if anything is wrong? If she says no, call her on her bull****.
Author idontunderstand Posted April 30, 2011 Author Posted April 30, 2011 It's been a couple weeks now. She makes up excuses all the time.
Author idontunderstand Posted May 3, 2011 Author Posted May 3, 2011 I've been NC with her for 2 or 3 weeks already... will she miss me? Should I make any moves?
Pianiste Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 I'd say it's a tricky situation. It's never a really good sign when you go from talking/texting everyday to no contact for weeks. If she didn't give you a clear reason for the silence and you feel like she might be making up excuses and you don't have any explanation for her behaviour either it's time to ask some question. It is time to make a move. You are stuck with these questions and she should be honest with you and just tell you why she has taken this step back. In addition you should be honest with her and tell her you feel like she is making up excuses and ask whether there might be a real reason for her to break off the communication so abruptly. It seems like you have enjoyed good times with her and vice versa there must be a real explanation why she ended something nice. Good luck. :-)

Pianiste Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 I wouldn't start right off with asking these heavier questions but neither would I act too casual. Just be polite and ask how she has been so she is a bit at ease before asking too many questions. She'll probably know something is up since you two haven't talked for awhile and now all of a sudden you want a conversation. :-)
