I want someone like her, but I don't want her, does that mean I am still not over her

I am not talking about appearance, I am talking about connection. I really liked my ex and the way we communicated and connected, but I could never take her back after her cheating on me.

Does that mean I am still in love with my ex?

Should I be wanting someone like her (minus the cheating)?

Should I be wanting someone totally different?

Just go with the flow :)

When the love comes, you will automatically opens up and feel love again

You're simply remembering all the good times with her and how those times made you feel, and you'd like to have that again. I'm sure we've all done the same. Someone has made us feel so special that we want that same feeling and believe we can only get it by having someone exactly like them, but that isn't true.

Eventually you will meet someone who will make you feel special but possibly in lots of different ways.

You have a certain set of criteria in your mind and your heart that your lover needs to meet. Of course your gf met some of those, thats why you felt in love with her in the first place, and will fall in love with somebody who is like her, because they share the same things about looks, and personality.

You are over her, just needs time to forget about her.
