occasionally I don't mind a Tapout or Affliction shirt. Graphic tees need to remain a minimum.

there are few things that could make an attractive woman be instantly not, in terms of seeing her with friends or exes.

one of those is seeing her walking around in public with a moron in tapout or affliction tshirt.

Black trench coat, black buckle boots, black pants, black shirt. (puts on black sunglasses...wow...)

Pretty much this + Bondage trousers with lots of buckles.

Then again I am a dirty goth but I will only wear that kind of outfit to goth clubs/gigs :p

Day to day, I'll go for skinny jeans with converses and a nice t-shirt/shirt which is a pretty standard rocker/emo look.

If you're going for an emo look, you need awesome hair. For general rocker, wear mostly dark/neutral colours with one item of a brighter colour, e.g. a coloured check shirt over a black t-shirt with dark jeans. Avoid bright blue jeans. Never wear a blue denim jacket with blue denim jeans, it looks awful (My opinion, of course :p )

General Tips:

-Layering. Each item on its own can be pretty boring, once you start combining them and layering they stand out more. Layer items with colours that contrast enough for the layers to be visible.

-Accessorise. It's amazing how much difference a nice watch, necklace and/or bracelet makes to an outfit.

-Match top and bottom, if you have tight trousers, don't wear a baggy t-shirt/shirt.

-Match belt and shoes. If you're wearing a black belt, don't wear brown shoes.

I find most guys dress in a really boring way.

That's your personal taste. I'm not crazy about those brands either. A simple design is okay but once you've got all the skulls & glitter it's just not very hetero looking for a straight man. I very much like it/find it attractive/sexy when a guy wears button down shirts.

If you had friends or family who wore Tapout or Affliction, would you disown them? Seems a bit shallow to judge someone based on what brand of clothes they wear.

MICHAEL KORS - everything that man makes is perfection.

Fit is absolutely the most important aspect of men's fashion. You could own the most expensive and trendy brands, but if the clothes fit poorly, it will look worse than someone wearing cheap clothes that fit right. My advice would be to find brands that fit the best. People will be much more likely to notice how well the clothes fit than what brand they are.

I just bought some new V-necks for the summer.

I'm 5'8" 44inch chest, 15" upper arms, 32W pants at 175lbs. I'm fairly lean & it's a total bitch finding shirts to fit me properly.

I need something with more shoulder room & a tapered cut.

I've found the Mosimo Athletic cut V-necks & polo's fit nicely.

L is a little loose, M though is snug & shows off my muscles. I thought they were too tight but the women I know said "OMG! you have huge arms" so I stick with the L's for work & M's when I go out. :)

But those shirts are kinda plain. good for plaid or striped shorts.

I also found some striped shirts at a store called Rue21 that also fit my body nicely. Their inexpensive clothes but I get the looks in them.
