Its never safe to assume they won't contact you, some contacts months and even years later. All you can do is move on and stop caring wether they do or not.. In the end if they don't want to fix things its better they are gone and not contacting you..
DustySaltus Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 I've had ex's contact me after 26 months, 8 years.... But I would hope by then I was in a different place. They could contact you for many different reasons: Maybe they just don't want you to hate them. Maybe they are going through a cold streak and are trying to fill a gap in their life. Or perhaps, the hardest thing to judge....if they tell you they made a mistake and are willing to do whatever it takes to make it work. Unless you hear this, it won't matter what kind of contact occurs, it's not genuine.

It's your own life and future to live. Well said. I concur. It's not something anyone can predict with a great deal of accuracy, much less with the information you have given. I have helped a friend of mine and we made bets on when she would contact him - so far I have been 2 for 2, but I knew the details of the situation, what he said, how she responded, and when he went NC etc. Other than that. It's a total crapshoot. Best of luck. Keep working on making you better. It will all work out in the end.
