Would a player introduce you to his close friends and family?

I heard some unsettling things about my LD bfs recent past that has me questioning his intentions. He's a charismatic, good looking dude, who no doubt can get his share of women. I have no reason to doubt his intentions other than what someone else told me about him that happened before we started dating. Butcha know...he is 1200 miles away....

I recently visited him because he wanted me to meet his close friends and family, so that I could know him more. Why would he do that if not for genuine reasons?

The players I know do in fact sometimes introduce their girls to friends and family. In fact, they don't even care if his girl(s) ask his friends to join in on "the fun", the ones I know even encourage it.

Players are often social animals, they'll introduce you because they are very social by default. There's not a lot of motive behind it I think.

Sure. I have a few good male friends who are players. I meet their flavors of the week fairly regularly.

Family? Hmm. . . . I mean, if you're meeting Ma that's a bit more unusual, but my commitmentphobic college BF introduced me to his Mom on our 5th date (it was around Christmastime). Then again, he also fell in love with me, commitmentphobia aside, so I wasn't really a flavor of the week, as we dated for years.

Yes, IME with 'player' women, friends and family can be and are a part of the 'game'. Such lends an air of sincerity. OTOH, it's really good information. Watching how families and friends operate gives great detail about the person. It all works out :)

A player will do whatever he can to foll you. So yes, he would show you to his family. It doesnt mean hes attached to you.
