lastresort Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 well my STBXW has been gone 3 months now and yes i have been served papers. I know there is no chance for reconciliation according to her. I would do anything to bring our family back together but she says no way. Today for easter we agreed to go as a family to a baseball game and hang out. Long story short i was out tonight for a friends going away party at the local yacht club and i ran into an old friend. I have known this girl for over 20 years but she is 10 years younger than me and she confessed she had had a crush on me since she was a teenager. To top it off her dad was my mentor in the profession that i do today. Well a few drinks and closing out the next bar she came on to me really hard. We did a little kissing and i drove her home. She asked me to spend the night but i am still hung up on my wife. I told her i was just going home and i would talk to her this week after the holiday. She was really bummed and texted me all the way home. I just don't want to take a chance of ruining any chance of getting my wife back then to have the girl be one of my good friends daughters is even weirder. Her dad preached my wedding as well and treats me better than his own son. Do i pursue a relationship with her or just blow it off? Just confused of what i should do.
