Glove_slap Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 I find that statement growing more truthful as the days pass by. Any thoughts?
aypforever Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 False. There are different types of love. My first love was not even close to my second love. It may take awhile to find a love like that again, but it will happen. Being in love and then losing it is supposed to make us grow. What you learn from that love will help you in your next relationship. It's really up to you if you want to love again or not. You're obviously not ready.
Chi townD Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 Yes and no. You love people differently for who they are, their personality traits; therefore, you never love any one person the same.
smudge21 Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 I've met 'the one' three times... make of that what you will.
Flgirl44 Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 I always took that to mean something completely different. I always thought it meant something along the lines of 'go out there and find love because you only have one shot' type of thing. Now I see what it's supposed to mean. No I don't think you only love once, I think it is possible to love as much as you let yourself.
stephmichelle Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 I've been in love 3 times...and I've loved more with each relationship. My last break up hurts more than the others (also the longest though) but I still have hope that one day I'll meet someone truly great and love him even more than the last - and hopefully it'll last forever.
