But in the first page, the author mentions a theory developed by Elaine Hatfield in which she called the Passionate Love Theory for which she developed a questionnaire, of which I of course looked up http://www.elainehatfield.com/Passionate%20Love%20Scale.pdf I scored a 109 with my current boyfriend... which landed me in the "passionate love" category... albeit the lower end! I found this questionnaire a little odd... mostly because I would hope and assume that MOST people in a relationship would score in the highest categories... otherwise why the hell would you be in a relationship with someone that you dont feel these things with? Isnt that what its all about? Maybe Im a dreamer (but Im not the only one )
Jazzari Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 I scored perfect 9s with my late husband. That was a once in a lifetime relationship. Just thinking about it still makes me breathless! I scored a 98 with my current SO. Not so intense but not bad either.
