I noticed this weekend that women tend to be more drawn to my photo when I'm not smiling and have a arrogant look. When I have a picture when I'm smiling and look pleasant I don't get as many views or messages.

Why is this?

That's funny. I usually prefer pictures when the guy is smiling, but that could just be me. Or maybe its just a better picture?

Depends on whether they are missing teeth or not :p

I never thought about it before, but I am more drawn to unsmiling photos. I think if you aren't smiling, people can get a better sense of your looks. Also a person's eyes are more prominent when they don't smile, which may draw women.

I suggest having both type of picture though.

To be honest, I don't think ladies care about whether a guy smiles or is serious but rather how a guy looks. The guy in the photo could be just gazing into the photo without smiling but if he is good looking, girls would be attracted.

It's the same for men. It's not how big the smile of the girl is, but whether she has a pleasant/cute/sweet face.

However, I prefer men who smile in their photos.

I prefer a guy that has a nice smile. More laid back guys are able to relax for a photo. Guys that are a bit too serious don't do this. At least that seems to have been my experience.

I far prefer a man who is smiling. And they must show teeth. I don't care for the controlled closed mouth smile.

Looking happy, open and fun is very attractive.

You want at least one photo taken in the bathroom mirror with your best bad-ass scowl. Women need to know that you can look like you wish you could protect them.

It depends on what they're doing in the photo. An unsmiling social photo might be off-putting just as much as someone who looks really clownish in a more professional setting. Posed studio photos can also be a little artificial.

Having said that, in my opinion, it's really subjective and it's better to go with what works for you individually.

And be sure to do it shirtless. Congressman like. :bunny:

I actually prefer it if the guy looks serious, but is still slightly smiling. A broad grin is attractive, but a strong and silent guy with a sense of humor...that's hawt
