irc333 Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Okay, there was this post somewhere where the OP talked about he had a male friend that was only 5'1", and a lot of people were saying, "My gosh man, he's S.O.L." Now, let's talk about women 6' or even taller. Are they having the same issues as small men in as far as having a hard time finding men 6 feet or taller? Or they're not really having an issue as much as a short guy?
veggirl Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 I have a friend who is 6' even. She has no problem getting guys lookswise (she is very pretty), it's her personality that repels them LOL. Guys as short as 5'8 will openly hit on her and she has no problem dating a shorter guy.

Yeah, I have noticed a trend in some tall women that will date shorter guys, because it's hard to meet single men that are their height. There are some women that are 6 feet tall, and want to date even taller (makes sense I suppose), but since that's a small fraction of men that goes beyond 6 feet, they tend to not really discriminate when it comes to height, I think. Seems the shorter a woman gets (or till around the average height of a woman) the more they prefer dating taller men.

The short, bald guy is Salmon Rushdie and his girlfriend at the time the picture was taken in 2009, Pia Glenn. He's 61 and 5'7" and she's 32 and 6' when that picture was taken. His last ex-wife, Padma Lakshmi, was also much younger and 5'9".
