ladymadonna Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 My boyfriend and I recently broke up after a relationship of 4 years. I know there's still a future for us, I simply know. I'm convinced that if I do the right things, we'll be back together, for the better. I could use some help though. Please advise me: I know there's a lot of superficial crap out there, but what's a really good book on making up?
RogerNelson Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 Dear Lady Madonna (love the song btw), I agree with you: most books on the subject are a joke. I've just finished reading a great one: The Heart To Head Method, by dr Robert Faulkner. It's a book that takes you seriously, that advises you, in 4 clear steps to use both your head and your heart: http://alturl.com/ej64s. Dr Faulkner transferred several successful concepts he learned in business to relationships, and for me it's working, I'm a big fan!
Fufu Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Does he still know that you and him have a future? A long term and serious relationship needs 2 to work. If only one partner believes in working out and the other doesn't, the relationship will not sustain. You need a self-motivational and inspirational book on moving on from break up.
