Hi everyone,

This ex of mine broke up with me 2 years ago (we were together 3 years), and although I told him I didn't love him during a fight because he was frustrating me so much, i tried to cling on and he ended it shortly afterwards and he hooked with a friend of mine straight away.

I was immature in that relationship but don't see the breakup as a mistake at all, I wasn't satisfied with him in many ways and he used to tell me I was insecure for expressing my doubts (I was..but I am also very independent). They're still together, and they seem perfect together, but the betrayal hurt a lot. He kept contacting me for 6 months, until I started dating again. We met in person once for lunch (5 months after) and both cried..but neither of us I think regretted anything.

Anyway...so much time has passed, I had another, better matched boyfriend in our circle of friends until he had depression probs, I have another one now who I love.

So I'm spending way too much time thinking not about my ex, but about his now girlfriend...Why?? I always see the times she flirted while we were together, and also she is a celebrity where we live so gets mentioned a lot by our circle and the media I read..God.. I don't think she is better per se, we each have our good points - but it seems in my head like everyone must see her as better, and it makes me feel..well, insecure:confused: and just...annoyed that these feelings are around!

Any wisdom is appreciated :)

SHE IS NOT BETTER THAN YOU....BOTTOM LINE.

Basically, The broad is irrelevent period.

You had the man. You broke up. He met another chic..thats it.

Stop looking at her and start living your own life FOR REAL.

This is stupid of you to be putting yourself thru the unnecessary drama. For WHAT? FOR WHAT?!?!?!

fk her!!! Worry about you and your life and your new opportunties ahead.
