Were these issues "big enough" red flags? Jealousy and other weird things.

So I dated this guy for a month and a half or so. Met him through a work friend. I will bullet point the "issues" and I want to know what you all think. I broke up with him last night.

--consistently really doting. makes my breakfast, coffee, etc. nice right?

--sweet. but very clingy. ALWAYS hugging on me.

where the issues lay?

--we went out to dinner where he accused me of flirting with the waiter because I smiled at him because he smiled at me.

--went out to lunch where he said I was making eye contact with guys I didn't even know were there.

--an old BF hit me up on FB chat where a millisecond into the conversation I said I had a boyfriend. Current bf said, "Why did you tell him that? I wanted to see what you would say." I'm like, "That feels like entrapment." We got into a scuffle about it.

--peers over my shoulder to see who I'm talking to on my phone whether it's email or FB I'm checking.

--accuses me of checkin on him when I come into the other room where he is.

--says to me the other night, when I had my phone with me, "You're being sly," when I was in bed not even on my phone.

--says I say things I didn't say about other guys.

--freaked out when we were sharing fantasies we have and tells me he "just knows that I'll make them a reality."

I finally had enough of it. Another factor that disturbed me was the fact that he would get put out if I didn't want to have sex with him and said that he needed to have sex. Or he wouldn't say anything he would just roll over and sigh really loudly about it. Especially when I was having feminine issues he STILL had issues with me not having sex with him and even admitted to being pushy. Would you have ran if you were me?

any responses?

YES lol He's got issues and it would have just gotten worse. Thankfully you were only together a month and a half.

Move on girl! Next!

Thank you:)

Yeah, you did good.

The man seems to be much to paranoid and possibly a control freak.

Props to you!

Wish more chicks would take care of themselves like you just did.

As fast as I could in the other direction

Thanks guys.

I agree with everyone here.

He seems really insecure and possessive. You were only together for a month, who knows what would have happened if you were together longer. You have a good head on your shoulders!

Good choice, really dodged a bullet.

Hope you find someone worthy. :)

That's a nutter if I've ever seen one. SMILING at your waiter is cheating? Good Lord.

Well he never said it was cheating but he did NOT like it whatsoever, he accused me of flirting.

Wow, aren't you glad you ditched him? I would be angry too if I was forced to have sex while on my period. Some men actually have the decency to be understanding and wait.
