I was bored today and decided for the first time in years i looked up my first gf.looks like shes married and has a kid.well it got me thinking my ex after her also has a kid and is engaged.im almost 30 i figured by now i would be married or engaged.sorry to bore you ppl i figured they liked me i just didnt have it

it's ok to feel that way. Just remember there is hope for the future and dont dwell on the past. I'm trying to deal with the same thing as you and I just tell myself that it will all be ok when I find the one.

You also need to keep in mind that women tend to marry and have children younger than most men do (goes hand-in-hand with many women still favoring older partners). Just because it hasn't happened to you yet doesn't mean that it won't or that it will, but you have to keep looking and stop wondering what you're doing wrong.

 

The average age for first marriage for most men in the U.S. is nearly 28 anyhow - and that's the average. There's nothing wrong with being nearly 30 or even in your early 30s or 60s before you find the right one. We don't all follow the same script, and thank God! Not all of us are made and bred to be born, date, get married at 25, have a baby at 28, grow old, retire at the same age, etc. We live our lives differently.

 

Keep looking, Dave. The things you want may come to you if you actively pursue them. But don't be on the first date saying, "man all my exes are married with kids and I'm old! How do you feel about marrying and having kids with me in a year or two?"
