Some like skinny some like nerdy some like beards some like no facial hair some like an innocent guy while otheres like a bad boy. Some will like them clean cut while otheres want them rugged. Guys boobs @$$ small waist cute face and who is nice and sweet; now guys i know will differ but not to much some guys will like red head, blondes, brunettes etc some will want a c cup while otheres may want a d but still same idea behind it. but still what we want is no diverse compared to girls. By the way, nature has build the system of 'Liking' based on the availability. Think about it, if few people in the entire world liked few others, then no one could be really satisfied in his/her relationship. This diversity is not actually a bad thing but something good. This is the base of my theory of Reciprocal Minds. Taking these diversities as a positive thing, two people of inversely same desires can build a 'Perfect' couple.
veggirl Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Physically, girls may be more open than guys. Personality-wise, though, they are probably more picky than guys. I think men and women are just as picky as one another, in the long run, but in different ways. We just prioritize different things.
thatone Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 devil's advocate (from another man)... a) music is a form of communication just like many other non verbal ones (art, poetry, acting, etc.). some people are receptive to it, some not. that goes for both sexes. i have little artistic talent, but i appreciate those who do very much. i notice the skill at facial expression and speech that make one actor or actress in a movie better than another. i pick up on music that perfectly conveys a mood, or a situation, and don't like people who limit their taste to particular genres of the above. if a woman replies to a comment about one of the above things with "i only really like (this) type of stuff", that's an instant turn off to me. other men might be more attracted to the woman without any appreciation for such things if they share the same limited artistic interests as her. b) some guys are not attracted to athletic women either, i'm not really. a woman with natural curves even to the point of slightly overweight is more attractive to me than a woman with muscular legs/arms for instance, especially if the slightly overweight woman knows how to dress well to make herself look attractive despite minor flaws. that suggests intelligence to me. i know the gym obsessed girl is proud of how hard she worked to look like that, but it doesn't look good to me, that's just personal preference, everyone has em. c) some men like women with giant fake boobs and more makeup on her face than one department store can possibly sell. some men are more attracted to women who have a more 'natural' look. some men are intimidated by women over 6 feet tall, especially if they aren't. some men find tall very attractive. a tall woman always turns my head, a dollish looking tiny woman, even if perfectly proportioned, not really. d) some men only prefer openly flirtatious/promiscuous women who dress the part. some men are much more intrigued by the pale shy girl with glasses and a sweater/jeans on who works at the library (the right one of these, to me, is incredibly attractive). i'm not as attracted to the women obviously looking to attract a man visually, that takes some of the fun out of the game to me, i like thinking i caught them completely off guard and still made a positive impression.
